Of Masonry and Shadows in the Brooklyn Rail

June 5, 2020

I’m proud to be affiliated with The Brooklyn Rail and its staff. At risk of sounding romantic (although romanticism has its appeals), they transcend their genre(s) with a true sense of mission in all they do. This month’s issue is dedicated to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Nina Pop, David McAtee, James Scurlock, Jamel Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery (statement of solidarity here).

Read my most recent piece for them, Of Masonry and Shadows, here.
